One of my repeated mistakes is tree calling too loud and not verbally clear but your "low" call solves this. I have only used the Go 2 Ghost Starter Package three times but it has proven to do what I wanted it to. I hunt primarily in Florida and on private land. Both times on private land, we worked toms or had them answer us with all three tone level calls. Occasionally I venture onto public land to help out buddies. Private land has far few (and more experienced) hunters and callers so the toms are not as "cautious" or "alert". They are not overly or wrongly called and are more "workable". On public land, most hunters seem to be wanting to "out call" all the other hunters. Too loud, too fast and wrong cadences. Last Monday I went to public state hunting land with a friend (the land now closed, we had no weapons, only camo and your calls) that he had hunted hard for over a month. We used the low call at dawn to a roosted mature tom who came down to soft tree clucks and a yelp. The "low" call did what I wanted it to do and the tom liked it as well. My friend had heard but not seen a gobbler all season but he saw the one within thirty minutes of me using your "low" call. There is no doubt any tom on that public land has heard half a dozen, if not many more, calls to him on the roost. But that low call (with good clarity) was apparently NOT what he had not been hearing but had wanted to. Everyone says that as soon as the season starts on state land, the toms stopped gobbling. I would think that would be a good time for the "low" call no matter the time of day so not to further spook a tom but to give him the "sweet sass" he wants.
These are very easy calls to kee kee. Great sounding calls
I also bought the Crying Karen starter pack and I must give the same review that I gave for them. There calls give out the best sound and are so easy to use I know that you can give only 5 stars but I would give a 10 if I could
A little higher pitch than I’d like but most likely is operator error. Great price, Fast delivery.
Nice sound
