The aluminum over glass is a must have pot call when you head into the turkey woods. This pot call is able to produce a beautiful two note yelp with minimal pressure. The high pitch front end yelp breaks into a raspy backend yelp. This is the perfect call to cut through the wind on those windy days. Pair this with the two piece dymondwood striker and you have a deadly combination heading into the woods!

Only played with the call for a few minutes, but loved the tone and raspyness. Should be a real killer come next season.
I wish I could add a picture but this slate call is poisonous on turkeys.
Overall it is a solid call, well worth the price point. My only gripe is that it is not as loud as I wanted it to be, but with a little tinkering and customization with my different strikers I know this call will produce birds. I have already passed up birds just to “communicate” with them as they come into the decoys and this call does everything it is supposed to, from getting the loud/medium notes of the cuts and yelps to the softer notes of the purrs. Overall I am happy and proud to use a call made in the USA and Veteran owned!
best sounding call I've ever heard straight out of the box
I'm not sure if I have to sand it or not.... I only received a scrub pad...
