2nd year with this call
My wife bought me a combo pack as a gift before one of our many hunts last spring. I tried all three calls and wasn't really sure what to think. I've tried so many brands over the years and have always fallen back on the two that have punched the most tags. We had our first hunt of the year and had my favorite call in. Birds were pretty quiet and a little shy. Nothing was working. Figured I'd try one of the new calls in my other pocket since the birds were going the opposite direction most of the day. Boy was I surprised. I pulled three hens across in front of my niece with the stubborn Tom following just steps behind. Tag punched! Great memories! Purple Turkinator! The following hunt with another youth on his first ever turkey hunt and I called in five running Toms. They left their hens to come visit me. Another tag punched! More great memories! Purple Turkinator! The following week my wife and I had an out of state hunt. Worked a flock of birds for over two hours with my old calls. Watched the birds eventually walk over the hill 300 yards away. Thought the hunt was over and put the Turkinator in. Never thought I had a chance. The hens just kept pulling him farther and farther away. He finally just couldn't resist the call. He started running down the hill and came to the edge of the washed out high bank double and triple gobbling. The Tom left his nine hens and flew across the creek and landed right in front of me still gobbling his face off. Unbelievable experience and another tag punched! The same thing happened again the following week in the neighboring state. That Tom flew away from his seven hens off a canyon top and landed 15 yards in front of me in the valley. No decoys, just the sound of the call. First time I'd ever seen a turkey glide nearly 250 yards and fly the rest of the way into a call. Another unreal experience! I've tried several different brands of calls over the past 20 years and have had no issues filling tags, but this call crushed it last spring. There are so many different ways to run this particular call. Extremely soft, to very loud and aggressive. I've had nothing but great success with it. It has put so many hens in my lap and has had so many very pressured Toms come right in. I finally found a call I can control very well and have extra confidence in. This call sounds very real and produces every sound I need in the woods of the Midwest to the Mountains of the West. It's called in several hunters as well unfortunately. I've called hens in that have had to practically step over our legs and gun barrels, pulling warry Toms right in with them, if they don't come strutting in on their own. This one Purple Turkinator call punched 15 Longbeard tags across six states last spring, and called in so many more birds than I can count. I ordered three more Turkinators and also tried a few other cuts after the season ended. The Turkinator works the best for me and is my favorite call now. I'm very excited to use it again this spring and have had so much fun talking turkey with it. The response from the birds has been great. Thanks to my awesome wife, I found a call that does it all for us in the turkey woods. I'm a big fan.
I love the sound of it. Makes the perfect fly down kluk and the best kackle I've ever heard with a mouth call. I'm going to be ordering more
Bought this along with the Wingman. Easy to run and great sounding calls! I will be a KLUK fan from here on out
Great.... thank and thanks for the service
