Kees are effortless with a yelp as realistic as ever. It can purr, whine, and whistle with ease. You must call from your diaphragm to produce realistic yelps with this call. I have been a big fan and user of a different mouth call builder for years. After doing some research about KLUK calls I was curious and boy I am glad I pulled the trigger on this call. It is a little lower pitched and throatier than the 2 reed smokin hen to my ears. The smoke phase 3 reed in the lower stretch has given me the ability to add more finesse to my calling routine in the ways of whines, quavies and purring and very soft clucks WITHOUT feeling like I need to drive and arch my tongue into my brain LOL. As a result I feel like I have more control over the call and I can run the call not let the call run me. It will not be my last KLUK! I also love being able to support a veteran owned small business!

I bought 7 different mouth calls from these guys they all sound great. 3 1st order liked them so much ordered 4 more. Been turkey hunting 43 years they are the real deal.
I purchased 2 calls to try out. I usually run wood havens and primos calls. The calls out of the bag didn’t have the tones I was looking for but may just need a break-in period.
